My love and enjoyment of the outdoors began at an early age with participation in school sports, golf, fishing, hunting, and exploring. I knew early on that a cubicle would not be for me. Completing my Associates of Science degree in Turfgrass Management at UMass/Stockbridge School of Agriculture took me on a path of golf course management for the next 17 years, with 10 years as a golf course superintendent at a private country club in Connecticut. I moved to Maine in 1996 and worked for O’Donal's Nurseries in Gorham, ME and Westerly Winds in Westbrook, ME before starting Lewis Brothers Landscaping with my brother Pat in 1997.
Some of the highlights of my career include providing a venue for PGA qualifying rounds, championship conditions daily, coordinating the design of the front nine at Sunset Ridge Golf Course in Westbrook, ME, and the landscaping of the campus grounds, farms, and guesthouses, as well as the design/construction of the Public Garden at Pineland Farms.
After 23 years in the landscaping profession, I still enjoy the ever changing sites and clients I and my staff are able to work with, bringing our experience in making landscape desires a reality.
"Lewis Brothers was able to see the big picture and exactly what was needed to achieve it. As a result, our drainage problem was fixed in a faster and more efficient manner then we ever dreamed. Thanks, Lewis Brothers!"

I am a Maine native. After graduating from the University of Maine at Orono, I attended the Art Students League of New York and was an artist in residence at the Jane Burr House (the Woodstock Artists Association). I continue the process of creating art as a print maker today.
Some of my earliest memories are of my grandmother's flower garden. I truly have a passion for gardening and now create flower beds and borders at my home in Portland.
I am pleased to have the opportunity to be a member of Lewis Brothers Landscaping crew.
Working to enhance and improve the environment around us is a passion of mine. Beginning as a young man, I began a lawn care business of my own in northern Maine. Then owned and operated a property maintenance business in North Carolina. And now, I'm pleased to be back working in the soil of southern Maine. Being with Lewis Brothers Landscaping allows me to use my skills as a heavy equipment operator, all while working with a great team to plan and develop specific land and hard scape design. I'm please to be onboard!
"Grateful as always for your hard work and stellar service. Seriously!"
I have been working outside most of my life and have always loved being outdoors. I started my landscaping career in high school with the Westbrook Parks Department. In my twenties, I spent five years gaining valuable experience in construction and maintenance at the Woodlands Club in Falmouth. Adding to my landscaping experience were job opportunities working with Paul Tukey’s landscaping company and the Audubon at Gilsland Farm. Following 12 years on the inside working at a local semiconductor company, I started my own landscape/property maintenance company, returning me to working outdoors. I am excited to be a part of the Lewis Brothers team, working with like-minded people to create inspired outdoor living spaces.
I’m an outdoorsy guy. I’ve always preferred making a living through the outdoors and landscaping provides me with a great opportunity to do that. I’m a Biology student taking time off from school at the moment to work, so I’m more than happy to be beautifying clients’ outdoor spaces as well as fill my desire of working outside. When I’m not working with the crew, I am often with friends walking trails, swimming in the nearby river, going for drives along the coast, and playing pool and darts in Portland, my hometown. Before joining the crew at Lewis Brothers, I worked for other local landscaping companies. In between landscaping positions, I was a dishwasher for both Street and Company and Scales restaurants.
I grew up being outdoors in upstate New York and have been familiar with hard work since I was young. At fifteen years of age, I was mulching at my house and my neighbors as well. After moving to Maine in the fall of 2020, I started performing construction work in Portland, Falmouth, Lewiston, etc. I have done a lot of physical labor on job sites and am now bringing that brought that hard working mentality to Lewis Brothers Landscaping.
Originally from Rhode Island, I found that I enjoyed working outside while helping my Dad work in our yard. Back home, I worked for a local state park for two years doing landscaping and maintenance, I’m excited to bring what I’ve learned to the Lewis Brothers team.
I was born in Guatemala and raised in Las Vegas. I've always been a hands on person and avid learner especially in the outdoors. I'm currently in sober living to better my relationships and life. This is my second year working with Lewis Brothers Landscaping. You generally will find me with friends going to movies or exploring the Portland area. Before being part of the Lewis Brothers Landscaping staff, I was working at Wendy's, and I would much rather have this job!
"We are both delighted with the quality of the work that your company and crew put into this project. Please feel free to use us as a reference for other potential customers." - Cape Elizabeth, ME

We highly recommend Lewis Brothers to all." - Cape Elizabeth, ME
