My love and enjoyment of the outdoors began at an early age with participation in school sports, golf, fishing, hunting, and exploring. I knew early on that a cubicle would not be for me. Completing my Associates of Science degree in Turfgrass Management at UMass/Stockbridge School of Agriculture took me on a path of golf course management for the next 17 years, with 10 years as a golf course superintendent at a private country club in Connecticut. I moved to Maine in 1996 and worked for O’Donal's Nurseries in Gorham, ME and Westerly Winds in Westbrook, ME before starting Lewis Brothers Landscaping with my brother Pat in 1997.

Some of the highlights of my career include providing a venue for PGA qualifying rounds, championship conditions daily, coordinating the design of the front nine at Sunset Ridge Golf Course in Westbrook, ME, and the landscaping of the campus grounds, farms, and guesthouses, as well as the design/construction of the Public Garden at Pineland Farms.

After 25 years in the landscaping profession, I still enjoy the ever changing sites and clients I and my staff are able to work with, bringing our experience in making landscape desires a reality.

"Lewis Brothers was able to see the big picture and exactly what was needed to achieve it. As a result, our drainage problem was fixed  in a faster and more efficient manner then we ever dreamed. Thanks, Lewis Brothers!"

I am a Maine native. After graduating from the University of Maine at Orono, I attended the Art Students League of New York and was an artist in residence at the Jane Burr House (the Woodstock Artists Association). I continue the process of creating art as a printmaker today.

Some of my earliest memories are of my grandmother's flower garden. I truly have a passion for gardening and now create flower beds and borders at my home in Portland.

I am pleased to have the opportunity to be a member of Lewis Brothers Landscaping staff.

Working in Maine’s outdoor environment has always appealed to me. I have an interest in permaculture, using the local ecosystem as the foundation of our projects. Enhancing the natural beauty of the land in Maine is very rewarding. I was taught to be a steward of the environment from past work as a guide.

When I’m not on the job, I enjoy visiting the many beaches of Southern Maine and rafting on the Kennebec River in The Forks. This winter, you will find me skiing at Sunday River and Sugarloaf. Thank you for the opportunity to grow as gardener and landscaper!

With an Associate's degree in Horticulture, I recently moved to Maine and found employment with Lewis Brothers Landscaping.

This will allow me to use my hardscape skills and love of gardening to improve client's properties.

When not working, I can be found playing soccer, skiing, reading and attending concerts.

Continuing to enrich my knowledge and skills, I moved to Brazil and became a gardener which I truly enjoy. Gardening has been a part of my life since childhood as my parents always had large flower and vegetable gardens.

After experiencing our clients' level of care, it's hard to walk by an unkempt garden without wanting to perform weeding and dead heading.

While not at work, I enjoy traveling New England, searching for antiques to buy or trade.
